I was so excited when I got the opportunity to review the Libman Freedom Spray Mop! My house is all tile except in the bedrooms! That is a lot of floors to scrub. I have never been happy with what I have been doing and have even been tempted to call in someone to clean my tiles for me!
I was also even more excited by the fact that the company says this product is green. It comes with a cleaning solution but you can actually choose to use whatever product you want (I’m going to try out my own non-toxic solutions) and pads that are reusable. I try not to use disposable products in my house in our effort to live more “green”! It also does not use any batteries. Sounds like a win win win to me! I am always leery of a companies claim of being “green” however, with this product I would have to say their claims are real and accurate! That makes me quite happy!
Check out Libman’s site for more information and to download a coupon or rebate.
I am happy with how this mop works. My tiles are very uneven and most mops do not get into the huge bumps and grooves of my large tiles. However, the Libman mop’s pad is doing a great job for me! The box also says that it works on wood & laminate, vinyl & linoleum, ceramic tile, stone, and marble. I only have the ceramic tile and will be keeping this mop because it works so well!
Now to the fun part; the sweepstakes for a $100 Visa Gift Card from BlogHer and a Libman Freedom Spray Mop from Libman (all to go to one winner), open to those 18 and up, USA residents.

My cleaning tip is to listen to music while I clean. I will never just listen to music without doing something else so I will look for things to clean just so I can keep listening to my music! Otherwise, I hate cleaning and try to do as little as possible.
Cleaning, well first off I have to”want” to clean. The other side of that moody coin is… When I’m in the mood to clean, Katty bar the door and unless you want to be drafted into “helping”, get out, run don’t walk!
I use vinegar as well for everything, Windows too. I keep a spray bottle of peroxide to wash down the sinks and cabinets in kitchen ad bath.
My favorite cleaning tip is to use a lint roller to clean dust and other stuff (in my case, cat hair) off of fabric lamp shades.
My favorite cleaning tip is to do a little each day and keep up on it. If you have a couple housework chores to do each day then it never ends up feeling like a huge chore.

My favorite cleaning tip is to a spray of pine cleaner to the commode each time it is used. It always leaves a fresh scent and gives the impression your bathroom was just cleaned. Everyone at home does this so it is always fresh.
My best tip is to thoroughly clean 1 room at a time. That way cleaning doesn't seem like such a monumental task.

Make a clean-up basket or bucket, something just big enough to hold some rags (old t-shirts make great rags) and your usual cleaners and gloves. If you make it quick to grab what you need it will be easier to clean it right when little accidents happen! Clean as you go and you won't get overwhelmed!

Microwave Cleaning:
I use a cup of water with a squirt of lemon juice to clean my microwave. Place the cup in the microwave, put the power on max for about 5 minutes. The steam from the water moistens and loosens the cooked, dry food particles. The lemon gives a fresh aroma. Wipe the inside of microwave with clean cloth. The food particles come off easy.
I try to tackle one small cleaning chore everyday, that way things never got terribly messy. Cleaning the appliances, or scrubbing the counters is not so bad when done right after dinner! Also, using great smelling products makes it so much more pleasant!! I really like Mrs. Meyers and Method.
BTW- I love how the pad can be thrown in the washing machine!

My cleaning tip is to use your children!! When I need my floors mopped I put double socks on their feet and let them "skate" across it to clean the open parts. They love it! I can live with a messy room except for my bathroom. Libman has a great tip for a hassle free way to keep your shower clean. It is their expert tip #50 as goes as follows:
To clean your shower surrounds without getting your hands wet, dip a Libman mop into a solution of 1/2 cup of vinegar, 1 cup of clear ammonia, and 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1 gallon of warm water. After cleaning, rinse with warm water.
Imagine that. Just mix the solution in a bottle, spray it on and after a while rinse it off. TA DA, CLEAN!
My cleaning tip is Music! For me, cleaning is best done to upbeat music.
Thanks for the contest.

My favorite cleaning tip is for picking up things that need to be put away. I set a timer and challenge the family. They usually get that job done before the timer goes off! Magic!

My tip is clean as you go.
Always dust AFTER you vacuum.
start from the top and work your way down. dusting after you vaccume or mop will just put you back at step 1!
